The Project Engineer plays a critical part of our teams for larger Aspen Group projects (generally in the $8–25M range). Working closely with the Project Manager, they maximize project efficiency by understanding project specifications, identifying and acquiring necessary materials, and developing and controlling the full project schedule. They have involvement from pre-construction to project close-out.
Given the nature of our delivery method, this is a highly collaborative position where you will work across the organization with architectural, interior, and landscape designers, outside consultants, internal Project Managers, sub contractors, and field superintendents.
The ideal candidate has a track record of success in project management, must be an outstanding communicator, and an even better strategist.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSRelevant Experience: Two or more years of experience in project management, project engineering, or project planning (scope, schedule, cost, quality) on commercial construction projects. Experience in field management. Procore & MS Project experience.
Education: Minimum four-year degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
Knowledge Areas: Minimum four-year degree in Civil Engineering or Building Construction Management.
